Clients have granted their permission to share these testimonials anonymously:

‘Lorraine has a wonderful way which puts you at ease and helps eliminate fears.  Gentle Steps is a perfect description of her approach’

‘I overcame hurdles I never thought I would or could.  I’d hidden a lot in the past about my life experiences and never truly faced them.  From session to session I felt more comfortable in speaking about my life.  That was solely down to the support I was given along the way.’'

‘My confidence & ‘mojo’ is back, I feel great.’ ‘I would like to offer my thanks to Gentle Steps Counselling for helping me on my road to recovery as a person. I would recommend it to anyone seeking any help or guidance for issues which they have in their lives. I feel like I’ve grown, thank you.'

‘The room was a perfect environment for the sessions.  It was quiet, calm, clean, nicely heated and comfortable.’

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is part of the first session and is conducted via a secure link online.   During this session, I will generally ask a few questions about what brings you to counselling and what your hopes from counselling are.  During the session we can also decide if I am the best fit for you and how we can work together on your journey towards getting where you would like to be.  Should you decide to book further sessions, these can be arranged either online or in person.
